Villa Triunfo
Confused as to what the Starmaya varietal is? Us too. That's what caught our eye in the first place.
A first-gen hybrid of a cross between a Marsellesa and an Ethiopian landrace, the Starmaya displays noticeably high acidity in the cup and this coffee from Villa Triunfo in the mountainous regions of Naranjo, Alajuela is no exception.
At the same time, this coffee possesses a subtle sweetness as you let it sit on your tongue, showcasing notes of yellow nectarine and rockmelon with a gentle and rounded grapefruit-like acidity. But to put it simply, as with all our coffees moving forward, we're just gonna describe it as a moderately acidic and clean cup with an underlying sweetness throughout.
But hey, if you brew already not nice, then yeah, is you no skill. xD
